Correct me if I am wrong but it has been about about 1 year now since Sony has taken over form Sony Ericsson. And I must say they are doing a heck of great job since their takeover. Let’s take a look at one of its upcoming models (might be out when you are reading this) the Xperia Z.

This phone’s physical design is simply gorgeous. I really love the precision and style of its design. To top that all of it is water resistant and dust proof. So yes you can show off by washing it under a tap. Or like this guy in the picture below.

The Camera on the Xperia Z is no joke. This mobile device comes with 13 megapixels and Exmor RS™ for mobile with HDR, which I must say is jaw dropping when you look at it from a mobile phone’s perspective. HDR (High Dynamic Range) is a technology that helps to capture the true colors of a picture being taken against strong backlight; it also supports this feature in video mode. Exmor RS in a nutshell is a technology that allows you to take good quality pictures in some of the worst light conditions. I herd that this phone is capable of taking 999 photos in just about 60 seconds with its multi shot feature.

Speed and Power

Speed and Power is something that just about everyone wants today and in these capacities the Xperia Z does not disappoint. With a 1.5Ghz quad core processor and 2GB of ram on board everything is a breeze. So that means you can multitask like never before, steam videos without delay, load webpages without hitch and play some of the most visually advanced games with better stability.

Sharing is a breeze with the one-touch Share feature. Share photos, music and more between two phones, or between your phone and an NFC- enabled laptop.

One-touch listening

Play the music on your smartphone through a wireless speaker or wireless headphones.

Here is a hands on video

In my opinion this is an over reach by Sony and it will be a force to be reckoned with in the android world.
